Ingredients for 4 people
- 1 kg button mushrooms, cleaned
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp Gold ‘Smooth Flavour’ Balsamic Vinegar of Modena
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp parsley, chopped
- ½ tsp chopped thyme
- ½ tsp brown sugar
- Sea salt and ground black pepper, to taste
For the recipe
Preheat oven or air fryer to 200°C.
Lightly grease, large baking sheet, or spray air fryer drawer with olive oil.
In a large bowl, combine melted butter, oil, De Nigris Gold ‘Smooth Flavour’ Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, soy sauce, garlic, parsley, thyme, brown sugar, salt and pepper. Add the mushroom sand toss in the glaze to coat.
Spread the mushrooms in a single layer on prepared baking sheet, or in air fryer drawer.
Roast in hot oven, or air fryer, for 15-20 minutes, turning mushrooms halfway through, and cook until tender and caramelised.
