Ingredients for 6 people

  • 480 g British eating apples – peeled weight
  • 150g plain flour
  • 150 g granulated sugar
  • 50 g butter – chilled
  • 6 tbs De Nigris Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 250 ml  water

For the recipe

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C.

Peel, core and chop the apples

Take a small size bowl,

Place the flour, 130g of the sugar, and cold butter in a bowl, and mix with your hand, until you combine the ingredients together, into large crumbs. Set aside.

Place the chopped apples in a saucepan, with the other 20g of sugar,  the water and  De Nigris Apple Cider Vinegar, bring to the boil, and then reduce to a simmer, stirring until the apple is soft and the Apple Cider Vinegar and water are absorbed.

Divide the cooked apple between six medium-sized ramekins and cover with crumble mixture.

Cook in the centre of the oven, for about 30 minutes, or until the top of the crumble is golden.
